We collaborate with companies to create improv-based learning and entertainment for their team. By using improvisational skills, we help companies engage and inspire their employees while in turn, making them more successful at what they do. In short, we make work better. Improv by nature is a team-based experience and must elevate the other members of the team. At its core, improv teaches the skills to work as a fully participating team with excellent communication, respect and self-responsibility. The businesses that thrive in the chaos of ever-present change are the ones with a new toolkit. It’s a toolkit that values speed, agility, collaboration, comfort with change, willingness to fail, and the creativity to solve old problems in new ways. Ultimately, they have the toolkit of an improviser.
We offer a variety of corporate training programs including comedy shows to reward your employees for their hard work. We customize each program to fit your company's culture and exceed your expectations. We've worked alongside executives to make them more at ease in public speaking and have the confidence needed to deliver critical information to a board, staff or investors. We've also worked extensively on team-building, communication and group problem-solving with world-class corporations as well as non-profit organizations. If you work in sales and want to amp up your client-to-customer relationships and be more confident in the "ask" then, ask us about our Public Speaking, Sales and Presentation Skills options.
We customize all of our training programs to fit the needs of your company. If you are interested in boosting sales, enhancing company culture, improving communication, increasing creativity or a little bit of everything, we make it happen. Here are a few examples of how we can take your company to the next level.
"I have been through quite a few employee engagement seminars in my 27 years with the company, yours stands above all others. You brought both humor and humanity."
"We all had a good time and it helped us become more vulnerable. We will be using the ideas you offered for the rest of our lives."
"My most profound take away was when every woman realized her ability to make an impact and touch the lives of others is so much bigger than a ripple, it's a wave."
No. While we use a variety of improv exercises in our training programs, participants will not be performing. Each exercise is designed to teach foundational principles that are better retained when participants are engaged both physically and mentally as opposed to a power-point presentation or lecture. We’re all in this together.
While ToastMasters does an incredible job of teaching the structure and delivery of a speech in a professional setting, that sometimes isn’t enough to capture your audience's attention and ensure your message is getting across. Improv addresses the “intangible” elements of public speaking and communication that engages your audience through your body language, comfort and confidence, allows you to push past technical challenges and interruptions with ease and include authentic humor, relatability and story-telling into your speeches and presentations.
We’ve offered programs for groups as small as 4 people all the way up to 200 people. There’s no group too small or big, however, this may change the dynamics of our session and how we choose to format the program so we can maximize our impact and success no matter the size.
Both. We can come to you or you can come to us. We can do our programs in your company’s building, a third-party venue or in our venue. Our general criteria is the room needs to be large enough for the participants to form a circle.
